In the editor, tap Add background to open the picker.

Three options:

• Shaders — subtle animated gradients that give your page movement
• Textures — a pattern layered over your event. Paper, linen, confetti, topography, and more
• Colors — simple solid backgrounds

Pick one and it previews live on your event page. You'll see the change immediately.

Removing a background

Tap the X next to the background pill in the editor. Back to the default.

Backgrounds and cover photos

They work well together. The background shows behind and around the cover image. A textured background with a clean photo can look really good without any effort.
